New Blog, Old Passions: Programming, Automation, and Travel in One Place
Hey, it’s Maciek here! I’ve finally taken the plunge and launched my own blog. By day I code, in the evenings I automate processes, and in my free time I explore corners of the world. After thousands of articles read, the time has come to start writing something myself.
What You’ll Find Here
First and foremost, programming - from solving typical problems to my experiments with new technologies. I won’t pretend - I’m not a guru, but I have some knowledge worth sharing. I mainly work with TypeScript/React, but I also like to experiment with various innovations - AI is trending now, so I’m experimenting with AI 😁 In short - I’ll document my solutions here - simple, current, and battle-tested.
Automation is my hobby - I love when the computer works for me. I’ll show you how to save time on repetitive tasks and what’s worth automating first. From simple scripts to complete workflows - if something can be done with less effort, why not?
And then there’s travel. No fancy filters or sugar-coated descriptions. Practical tips, places worth visiting, and stories from the road. I’m not an all-inclusive tourist type - I prefer to discover places on my own, often away from the beaten path.
Why Am I Doing This?
Honestly? I’ve always wanted a place where I can dump what I’ve learned from my head. This blog is partly my notebook and partly a way to systematize knowledge. If someone finds it useful - that’s an extra bonus 💪
Besides, I enjoy those moments when, after months or years, I return to old notes and think: “wow, did I really do it that way?” 🤪
And maybe I’ll meet a few people with similar interests along the way? The internet is vast, but communities of enthusiasts can be surprisingly small and tight-knit.
What’s Next?
We’ll see how it goes. I don’t promise posts every week, but I’ll share content when I actually have something valuable to convey. Quality over quantity - that’s my motto.
In the near future, I plan to describe:
- How I automated personal finance management
- My setup for remote work from various parts of the world
- Non-obvious VS Code features I discovered after years of use
Your Turn!
Thanks for stopping by. Let me know what interests you most! Do you prefer reading about programming, automation, or travel? Or maybe you have a specific problem you’re struggling with and would like me to write about?
PS. If you know any cool automation tools or have your own productivity hacks for programming - share them! I’m always eager to learn new perspectives.
